Samoa is leading the world as one of the first Pacific countries to release a Marine Spatial Plan that will fully protect 30% and sustainably manage 100% of their ocean by 2030. @samoagovt #30x30

I'm honored to support this historic sail from Fiji to Tonga as Pacific Island leaders meet to discuss the sustainable development of the ocean and protection of vital resources.

After nearly a decade, the Uto ni Yalo returns to international waters! 🌊 Later this week, we’re sailing to Tonga for the 53rd Pacific Islands Forum, carrying the spirit of Pacific resilience & ocean protection. #SautuVoyage2024 #UtoNiYalo

I am honored to support this work and create a more sustainable ocean for all people.

"Caring for our ocean is an ongoing commitment." Lita Faanunu, a PhD student at the University of the South Pacific, School of Marine Studies gives an encouraging message to Pacific countries undertaking Marine Spatial Planning in their waters. #BlueProsperity

I had an incredible time on the @greenmedianews podcast discussing the #OceanOptimism movement I’m leading. We explored how we can advance our business and development goals sustainably while ensuring the restoration and maintenance of a healthy ocean. open.spotify.com/episode/3c4zJd…

I am honored to work with Arthur and our team to support Pacific Island Nations in achieving their sustainable ocean management goals.

“The work that we are doing right now is an investment in our future.” Arthur Sokimi, the Waitt Institute’s Pacific Regional Director, spoke on Marine Spatial Planning. He asked, “What kind of ancestors do we want to be?”

We believe a 100% #cleanenergy future is coming and we want to be on the side of companies who are making it happen. Read more about our commitment to fight #climatechange (and why we won't serve as AOR for #oilandgas companies) via @PRWeekUS: bit.ly/3yvKvG2

When @Thunnus told me about #bluefin recovery I was amazed and looking out for the official word. Here it is - my news to me good news for June 26 #OceanOptimism #EarthOptimism fisheries.noaa.gov/feature-story/…

#EarthOptimism: In the last decade, #cleanenergy capacity has surged in the U.S., and the growth shows no signs of slowing. Solar projects are 6x larger than a decade ago, wind projects are 3x larger than 20 years ago, and battery projects are 15x larger than 5 years ago.

Cool story and visualizations from @curious_founder on the growing capacity of new solar, wind and battery projects open.substack.com/pub/michaeltho…

In a first, more than $2 trillion will be invested in clean energy projects this year—nearly double the investment in fossil fuels. It's a lot, but far more is needed to accelerate the energy transition. @carrie_klein_ w @CanaryMediaInc's Chart of the Week canarymedia.com/articles/clima…

It is an honor to support Samoa in its effort to help preserve the cultural and economic value of Samoa's ocean for future generations.

Samoa is leading the way in sustainably managing 100% of its ocean and fully protecting 30% of its ocean through the Samoa Ocean Strategy (SOS) and Marine Spatial Planning. Follow @samoaoceanstrategy on Facebook for updates. #Samoa #SamoaOceanStrategy #marinespatialplanning

I’m proud to support our Blue Prosperity Fiji team!

Last week, our #BlueProsperityFiji team piloted the #OceanUseSurvey project in Yavusa Navakavu, Rewa Province! The Ocean Use Survey was designed to fill gaps in knowledge about where and how Fijians use and value the ocean. Follow @BlueProsperityFiji on Facebook for more updates.
