This is objectively good for the SLC from a competitive standpoint, BUT I also think mid / low majors with > 12 members are bloated. Is the funniest outcome the rest of the non-Texas schools leaving the WAC, and then all SLC TX schools going back to WAC in a TX only conference?

Yet another huge comeback from @Islanders_MBB falls just short with an 82-83 loss to New Mexico State. So much talent there and some stretches of play that look great, but to reach their potential they’ll have to stop getting in the huge holes that require big comebacks.

SFA has let a halftime lead slip into a double digit deficit against Drake. Would have been a great non-conference win for the Jacks and the SLC. Meanwhile, SLU is beating UAB in the 1st. Keep an eye on that one.
