A true leader on the pitch doesn't attack their teammates. They make sure their teammate's heads are always held high (even when losing).

A true playmaker on the pitch is not the fastest or strongest. It's the player who can make the quickest decisions under the most pressure.

Confidence on the pitch is a common issue in youth soccer. Just remember that you're not alone and that its all apart of player development.

Training is a time to make yourself comfortable in game situations. Players don't wake up with new techniques, they train hard for them.

Stop selling yourself short on the pitch. If you don't have any confidence in yourself, how do you expect your coach to?

Whenever you speak to a teammate on the pitch, end your sentence with a positive. Ain't nobody got time for your negativity.

Don't be your biggest critic. Support yourself and keep your head up. It's ok to make mistakes. Learn from them and move on!

You don't have to agree with the feedback that you're given. Regardless, you should welcome as many different perspectives as possible.

Just because you're a attacker doesn't mean you shouldn't know the roles of a defender. Educate yourself in all aspects of the game.

Practice all weaknesses in training. Go for that extra trick, go for that long pass, take that distance shot. That's what training is for.
