Overturning Roe and outlawing abortions will never make them go away. It only makes them more dangerous, especially for the poor + marginalized. People will die because of this decision. And we will never stop until abortion rights are restored in the United States of America.

Remember when reactionaries talked about protecting the “sanctity of marriage” as the reason why they wanted to outlaw gay marriage? I believe its the same with abortion. They care more about policing women’s sexuality than they do about protecting the “sanctity of life”.

Misogyny is not something that people have to actively pursue… its embedded into all aspects of our culture. Its mostly subtextual as well, so you’ll rarely see it stated out loud. Women being “missing” from prominent roles in narrative media is also a huge nonverbal factor
