Great life tips. Also “Life is more than a point” @rogerfederer won ~80% of all his matches, but only 54% of the points. “Whatever game you play in life, sometimes you’re going to lose a point, a match, a season, a job. It’s a roller coaster with many ups and downs.” #resilience

Invaluable life lessons from @rogerfederer: 1 Effortless is a myth 2 Belief in yourself has to be earned 3 Grit > Gift 4 Discipline is talent 5 Trust and loving the process is talent 6 You can do your best and still lose 7 Life is bigger than the court

Such a great time and company.

This was a part of the @bme_uoft team that participated in 2024 @IEEEembs conference last week. This dinner took place on Thursday, thanks to Azadeh’s (@SleepdB_Lab) efforts. As you can see Berj (@BerjRex) was the master of ceremonies.

Congratulations @ChiefSciCan Mona Nemer on her well-deserved reappointment. She has worked tirelessly to advance science in Canada, and to ensure we have science-based policy, not policy-based science. Mona is a true inspiration, and a wonderful mentor, colleague, and friend.
