HOLY HELL— Tiny man, massive armload. Blinking.
“Hardly.” Two cups set down, along with a plate of pumpkin bread set between seats. Loose tea. Hot water. A splash of honey in each. Finally the magician sat down and started shuffling, eyes downcast. “I missed you,” he murmured, before flicking cards down in a spread.
“Not sure! But a white tea. Most definitely preferred, requires less augmentation. A bit of honey for sweetness and that’s all.” Absolutely oblivious, and reaching for his cards. “Oh…DID you have a preferred deck?”
Happily taking @BOUNDHERMIT ‘s hands and squeezing them. “It’s been a while! Hasn’t it? Would you care for a reading? Tea? Asra brought back a lovely blend. Oh! And pumpkin bread!”
… ( snort— ) You know you can just ask for something else. White or red?
( a few blinks , then a blush . throat gets cleared . ) right ! tea ... i love tea ! much better than wine ...
