For the second year in a row, France and Britain have joined Russia (!) and North Korea (!!) to vote NO to providing assistance to nuclear survivors and contributing to environmental remediation of nuclear test sites. All other nuclear weapons states (plus Poland) abstained.

Forum Troika plus leaders are in #NewCaledonia conducting a fact-finding mission to assess the situation on ground. Upon arrival, the leaders were taken to areas around Noumea that were badly destroyed following recent unrests - incl a public hospital and commercial centre.
