We are pleased to announce that the @AssemblyGambia has passed the Victims' Reparations Act 2023, which was tabled before it by Minister of Justice. With passage of this Act, Victims who suffered violations from July 1994 - January 2017 will be provided with their reparations

The UN General Assembly adopted res: A/RES/68/163 at its 68th session in 2013 proclaiming Nov. 2 as the ‘International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists’ (IDEI). This afternoon we partnered with the @gmpressunion to commemorate this day with a public lecture.
