The Mario Universe library of games on Switch is pretty amazing. I don't know if Nintendo can top this on Switch 2, but I can't wait to see them try!
Of all fanbases to starve for content the last few years I got no clue why they picked Mario. So happy we're finally getting some new games!!
As much as I wanted it I would've been alright with no Mario Kart 9 on Switch since I like how Deluxe plays but I still wished they actually put some new courses in here. Great value for the huge amount of tracks at least one per cup would've made it so much better
Most I've enjoyed a Direct in a long time, love that they're finally bringing Strikers back! The gear customization and leagues definitely put it over the top for me still can't believe it, hopefully there's more characters though 😂

2022 looking good for the Switch already, Legends has a ton of potential and Splatoon 3 could be great. What's interesting is both are likely releasing in the first half, with Pokémon being "early" and Splatoon probably being Spring / Summer, so much more is likely coming too.
Very happy with that Direct, some stuff didn't hit but I'm hyped for Splatoon 3, the new Octopath game and a couple others. Pyra & Mythra are exciting to see added too. Wasn't worried about no Pokemon since we'll get that next week, Diamond & Pearl should still be on the way 😊
