The @CMWR_2024 Conference last week was a great success. This would not have been possible without the hard work of our organizing team, and the enthusiastic support of colleagues and friends from all over the world. Thank you! Looking forward to CMWR 2026 in Bologna, Italy.

PFAS ‘stick’ at the air-water interfaces of thin water films covering soil grains. Whether PFAS access these thin-film interfaces dictates how fast PFAS leach to groundwater. Paper, led by @Sidian_Chen, tackles this problem from a pore-scale view. doi.org/10.1029/2023WR…

Super excited to share our paper about upscaling the nanoconfined phase behavior in shale rocks. Thanks to my advisor Dr. Bo Guo @boguo_ua and our collaborator Dr. Jiamin Jiang😀

When confined in a nano space, phase behavior of a fluid mixture deviates from bulk. But, how does the deviation manifest in a multiscale nanopore network (e.g., in shale rocks)? New paper let by PhD student @Sidian_Chen addresses this question. doi.org/10.1016/j.cej.…

Looking for a PhD position in subsurface flow and transport? An awesome opportunity you shouldn't miss.

Colleagues — I am looking for a new PhD student to join my group in Fall 2021 working on exciting problems related to flow and transport processes in Earth’s subsurface (see more details in the link below). Please help RT. findajob.agu.org/job/8013898/ph…

I am really excited that our work is finally accepted and published. Thank you so much all the help, Bo.

New paper led by PhD student @Sidian_Chen presents a novel fully implicit dynamic pore-network model for two-phase flow and phase change in porous media. doi.org/10.1029/2020WR… @Hydrology_AGU @AGU_SciComm
