We owe it to them: all our female ancestors who were denied that democratic right. Patriarchal forces still attempt to hold us back by pushing apathy, telling us that “politicians are all the same”. They’re not - and you have the right to choose, to vote from the heart, for our…
The Home Secretary has today falsely told Parliament that she “did work fully with Public Health England” in arranging the unsafe and unlawful conditions at Napier Barracks. Because truth matters, here @StevePeers extracts the High Court judgment showing what really happened.
The Home Secretary explicitly claims in her Commons reply to @zarahsultana that she was "following" public health advice. Here's the High Court judgment, concluding that she did no such thing.
This is such a great message from Jonah Hill. I wore swimsuits with a skirt, FFS! Like it was 1860! And now I look back and think I looked lovely, *apart from the ridiculous costume*. Truth is, whatever you look like, in ten years you’ll look back and realise you were beautiful.

Civil servants are now being enlisted to spread Trump-like propaganda denigrating “activist lawyers” who ensure the Home Secretary follows our democratically enacted laws. They lie about the law so they can get away with breaking it. Don’t let them lie to you. #FakeLaw
Yes, I am furious and I don’t mind admitting it. I cannot bear to see young people from working class backgrounds shafted on an industrial scale by an elitist education system more concerned with grade inflation than fairness and social mobility. #LevellingDown
Andy Burnham is absolutely furious about the #examshambles. On what grounds can you say that a young person who goes to a 6th form college in Greater Manchester gets different treatment from somebody who goes to a private school in Oxfordshire.. it's simply wrong #BBCBreakfast
When I look at Patel, I see bullying stupidity. Williamson - insane over-promotion. Raab - angry inadequacy. Hancock - churlish incompetence. Truss - flailing ineffectiveness. Gove - sly betrayal. Johnson - lazy, irresponsible, bullshitting vanity. All of them - corrupt greed.
Unfortunately we’ve lost quite a few followers today because we condemned Dominic Cumming’s actions. But for us, the health of our colleagues and the population they serve is more important than anything else. So please RT and follow if you remain right behind us. Thank you x
You don’t always get the graph you draw - might end up looking more like this!
Please continue to challenge the government with your fair questions from a position of expertise and front line knowledge. Thank you for giving the public a voice
Here’s my full question to the Health Secretary today. Undoubtedly it made for difficult listening and the hostile response reflects that, but it’s the truth, it’s fair to ask questions and frontline workers need their voices heard.
Matt Hancock should apologise for telling @DrRosena to 'watch her tone' after asking a perfectly factual question. This is no way for the Health Secretary to speak to a serving A&E doctor.
Something creepy about a man telling a woman to watch her tone! Worse that he recommends she adopts the tone of another man. I suggest @MattHancock changes his.
I will respectfully challenge the Government - I want our country to succeed. However, I will not 'watch my tone' when dozens of NHS and care staff are dying unnecessarily. A clip of my Q to the Health Sec today.
Good Lord. You delivered that eloquently, clearly, succinctly and professionally. You asked the right question in the right way. Matt Hancock on the other hand...Good Grief!!! Talk about off tone!!

Here how @MattHancock responds to @DrRosena, an ACTUAL front-line NHS worker, telling him many colleagues feel let down by the gov't testing strategy. He tells her it's not true and to watch her tone. It's easy to forget, because of how useless he is, just how nasty he can get.
Quite astonishing the way Neil Ferguson was thrown under a bus to ensure yesterday's real headline news - the UK having more #COVID19 deaths than any other country in Europe - no longer dominates the front pages.
He is worth £140m. He lives in the tax haven of Monacco. He owns the Mandalay Estate, a luxury villa on Mustique. How is he not lying when he says "we can't do this without you"? crowdjustice.com/case/lockdownl…
Was it his flirtation with eugenics, his complicity in electoral fraud or his contempt for the NHS that made Dominic Cummings qualified to sit alongside the scientific experts on the #COVID19 SAGE? theguardian.com/world/2020/apr…
I am generally not someone who goes on about the uselessness of old white men. But fuck me.
Mike Pence and his coronavirus emergency team praying for a solution. We are so screwed.
