So train is running late, and the message also says "no toilets, no reservations and no catering" - what great public transport we have!
It appears @gwrhelp have given an early Christmas present and run their first on time train (for me at least) for months.
Agreed re the tube. There are some issues but it generally delivers, and the comms and honesty when it doesn’t make it bearable. You get no comms, responsibility or honesty from GWR when something happens, which is why people cannot stand them.
I don’t mind paying for the Tube. It has its problems but it’s generally reliable and good value.
Let’s sum up today’s @GWRhelp farce: Train broke down due to engine not starting Another fault caused brakes to fail Lighting/heating then broke Hitachi sent out another to tow back but fault transferred causing 15 coaches to have broken down. Old train had to be sent out to tow

Does anyone know how I could find out how many delayed/cancelled trains are the new GWR IETs? Is this info available on the train tracking sites in one form or another?

We can confirm that due to staff being scared of the dark that we don’t check trains when it’s too dark. However we may make random SAS style ticket checks when 20 of us will descend on a single carriage.

Only so many bullshit excuses they can come up with. To be honest, you couldn’t make half of them up now days. So what better way to cheer your customers up than to cause shit leading up to the holiday that really matters when it comes to getting home. GWR are pure SCUM!!

@GWRHelp thank god I checked the trains. Meant to finish work at 7, but the 19.13, 19.40 and 20.40 sal-wmn all cancelled! Bloody ridiculous. Leaving work early instead.

It’s actually pretty easy. It’s a condition of working for FirstGroup to be rubbish, plus we send you on a customer First course which brain washes you into how much you must treat customers with contempt. Remember no passengers means an on time Railway!!
