I used to work for someone that just outsourced his 9 to 5 job - he got hundreds of thousands of USD, I got scraps.
It broke my brain when I realized most people making 125k/year don't work significantly harder than many people making 25k/year.
I wonder if someone got a change to one of these companies to just be let go later, when the layoffs happened.
