Honestly I would be very surprized if anyone other than Gyanendra or Sharad is made the captain. If there is no rift between CAN members and Gyanendra, it has to be Gyanendra and if there is, it has to be Sharad. Dipendra to be the deputy in either cases.
May be he wanted to resign earlier. He couldn't. May be, he was waiting for this day, who knows?
I am all for Dipendra as the next captain. Always thought he was a captaincy material who can thrive on the challenges. But it could be asking too much from him right now. My pick would be Gyanendra to take over right now with Dipendra be groomed as his deputy

Paras was short of spin resources today. Basanta was missed but you have to deal with those. May be could have played one of Bhari/Rajbamshi. Anyways well tried in the bowling front. Same old problems with the batting #NepVZim
