This autumn, please consider leaving dead plants in your garden rather than 'tidying' them up. Over the winter they will provide sheltered spots for hibernating ladybirds and lots of other creatures ๐Ÿž #wildlife #gardening #nature

The volunteers have been creating reptile and amphibian hibernacula @Parcbrynbach to create safe areas for these creatures to shelter and overwinter in. Amazing job again! Thanks all ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿธ๐ŸฆŽ

The volunteers have been busy planting a mix a native wildflower plants to enhance the area around the newly created wildlife pond @Parcbrynbach Thanks to everyone who helped and to Aimee @GroundworkWales for buying the plants๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿธ

Site visit day today - lots of Devil's Bit Scabious at Parc Nanty Waun. This native wildflower is the food plant for the marsh fritillary caterpillar.
