Saw these crested mynah (Chinese starling) while waiting in a queue in Lisbon last week. Googled them when I got home. They are native to China but due to being a popular caged bid have been accidentally released sometimes. A breeding population was discovered in Lisbon in 1997!
#laoty I don't really like any of the paintings from the finalists 😭. Kristina will probably win I think - her drawings look a bit like preparatory work from Constable and her coloir palette best suited to the Orkneys I think, out of the three they've put through. Not much red!
