I have six grandchildren - I have no hesitation about them returning to school. Every family has to do what is right for them, but personally I'm comfortable with it. Clearly we need precautions in place, but our European neighbours have shown us it can be done safely.
With all this talk of the 'new normal', perhaps the 'old normal' isn't as far away as people fear. As we move into summer, I think we'll see the situation continue to improve. Keep distance, wash hands, be sensible and we'll keep moving in the right direction.
Clearly this must mean easyJet has no need of state support or taxpayer bailouts and the government should act accordingly, surely?
