Officially below 60k left on our mortgage. I’m gonna be a waiter in my early 40s with a debt free life.
Just want to give a shout out to jerk who called back the restaurant to complain he couldn’t get a take out until 7pm because the kitchen had to put out two parties and a wedding during service. Fuck you buddy! Just another reason to achieve FI.

Hit a honey hole garage sale this morning. Found 120 Classic rock LPs for .50 each. Gonna flip flip flip and enjoy rocking them out as well.
I’m motivated by freedom and happiness and all that but I’m also motivated by anger, fear and anxiety. They don’t seem to be highlighted as much in the FI journey.
Sunday funday. I give myself this day to recharge and enjoy family time at home. No thoughts of waiting tables and not many thoughts of side hustle. At times I have to remind myself to be at ease when I’m at rest.
I’m happiest when I’m disciplined. I think I’ll be happy when I eat junk, be lazy, buy dumb shit, or smoke a cig but that all just makes me feel worse…discipline really does equal freedom

Invest 500 into Bitcoin, made 132 bucks on Instacart, sold a dress on eBay, flipped some cards from Walmart, and having a healthy salad for lunch…Now I’m ready to wait tables tonight.
Flipped a Kobe rookie I bought for 800 last may. Sold it for 7k last night on FB. Gonna most of it to the mortgage. Won’t be long until it’s paid off
Having already earned money from my side hustle takes the pressure off a slow night of waiting tables. It also give me such peace of mind.
Last day of virtual learning at home for my kids. I’ll miss having them here but I’ll use the extra time I have now to side hustle even more before my shifts.
The best of waiting tables in the evenings is being able to spend the days with my daughters and not having to worry about childcare.
