Yesterday was my first day as a postdoc. 🥳 For 18 months, I'll be studying the biomechanics of the nigerien dinosaurs Lurdusaurus and Ouranosaurus with @HoussayeCnrs and @SamHybois I can't wait to start working on the simulations!

🚨📢 Isotope paper 🧪 Honoured to have contributed to this fascinating study of a young Inca feeding habits before her sacrifice as part of the Capacocha ritual. Congrats to E. Poulallion for carrying out this excellent work 👏🏻 📰: doi.org/10.1016/j.jasr…

😍 What an honour to see that @NatGeoES refers to our article on the water balance maintenance in bottlenose dolphins and orcas 🍶🐬 👨🏻‍🔬 Here, the research article in @J_Exp_Biol : 10.1242/jeb.245648 🌐🗞️ And here in NatGeo: nationalgeographic.com.es/mundo-animal/s…

End of my visit to the Stable Light Isotope Laboratory of @UCT_news for the acquisition of our carbon and nitrogen isotope values from Ross seals 🧪🦭. I can't wait to see what our data will tell us about their trophic ecology 🐟🦑🦐.

The third paper of my PhD is out ! We have located regional heterothermies in seals with oxygen isotopes 🧪🦭. Little bonus for the data from the teeth 🦷.. Go take a look 🔎⬇️ @le_CR2P @J_Therm_Biol authors.elsevier.com/a/1ih3y15hXuG8…

So excited to start my first post-doc project in @UPTuks! I look forward to seeing our first stable isotope data from Ross seals, the least studied phocid in the world 🦭🧪

🧑‍🏫 Last talk in France on my PhD work 🧪🐬 before the big departure for my postdoctoral project 🦭 at the @UPTuks 🇿🇦! Huge thank you to Dr. Christophe Guinet and the @CEBC_ChizeLab for the opportunity and their welcome 🙏

Many thanks to @J_Exp_Biol for this spotlight and for highlighting our research 🐬🧪

In his #JEB100 ECRS, palaentologist @SeonNicolas tells us how he enjoyed the multidisciplinary nature of his PhD, including animal physiology, isotope geochemistry & modelling, & how he is looking forward to his postdoc studying the Ross seal 🧵1/2 journals.biologists.com/jeb/article/22…
