Also for clarity - I still don't think going all-in on Baxter (which IS what they're doing, regardless of what the acting CEO says) is the right move. Objectively, balance sheet-wise, sure. Logical. Knowing Starbreeze's audience, reputation & previous launch history? Moronic.
This stems to a wider critique I have of Starbreeze choosing streams as a way to share this information. Make a statement/blog post to show this information, THEN discuss it more on stream. Big info pieces like that shouldn't so easily slip between the cracks.
One thing that's important to point out from today's stream that I think went under the radar for some people - Almir & Mats discussed that Payday 3 isn't a profitable game for them and so can't self-fund its own updates. Sobering information, but it does explain some choices.
Ye won’t want to miss this mad dog delivery in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii 🚴💨 What landlubber eats do ye want Majima to bring to ye?
woah! suddenly... i just can't stop playing Ishin!

Everyone is so talented ahhh I can't keep up
I hope people are not unfollowing because I don't just draw Rtl all the time. Getting tired of drawing Rtl is the last thing I want from me so I draw a couple other things too.
You're not going down. Not on my watch.
Sorry Payday Twitter Man. Answering questions won’t really help. In the interview with @RedArcherLive, Almir couldn’t say Baxter wouldn’t impact Payday. Now the report says quite clearly that Payday is getting less invested back into it. There’s no world where this is sustainable
Hey heisters, we've been reading your comments regarding our quarterly report. Almir will host a stream on Tuesday where we'll talk about it properly and give you an opportunity to ask questions live. We believe in PAYDAY 3 and want it to succeed! Thanks heisters 😎👍
I believe the majority working at SBZ echo this sentiment. However, they are not being sufficiently supported. There is an implicit desire to move away from Payday and its fanbase. We're stubborn, opinionated and resist modern monetisation. They want us gone to sell Baxter Bucks

I've just recorded the Payday 3 Year 2 video discussing investment cuts, redundancies (yes, there have been some) and overall sentiment that Baxter is more important. It's going to be angry, it's going to be passionate. I'll make no apologies for it. Will be with you ASAP.
To me, this statement reads less like "we’re investing less into Payday 3" and more like "'we can now continue to add value without the heightened investment levels we saw during OMB" I think we need really to consider the increased investment that came with Operation Medic Bag.
My heart sank when I read this. Payday 3 Year 2 having a significantly lower level of investment. It’s already been two months since the last content update, we don’t know when the next one is. Patches/updates are already too spaced out and barely functional. We might be cooked
