What do I expect? Well, as a very minimum: Green ministers who DON'T decide that a new national park should continue to be grazed by ecocidal sheep, or that deadzone sitka should continue to dominate forestry, or that a new gas terminal be built on the Shannon, etc, etc...

I don't know what you expect, and I know you care, and I think I care, but I can't help but take it personally when I see a post which looks to the political angle on the state of nature and has a go at ...the Green Party ...

So this is why Minister Paschal Donohoe met Ryanair's Michael O'Leary, It was all about the fuel tax. Fucking chancers.

This undeclared “private dinner” between Michael O’Leary and Paschal Donohoe took place at a time when Donohoe and his department were involved in contentious EU negotiations on plans to tax jet fuel. A little context… 🧵 (1/7) irishtimes.com/politics/2024/…

THIS IS THE TRUE FACE OF THIS GOVERNMENT They waltzed into this campaign with arrogance and are now getting shown for who they truly are They are not connected to the real people of this country. Never mind policy, they should be punished for their arrogance alone G'luck 👍

This clip perfectly captures the disconnect between @SimonHarrisTD and parents/carers. He dismisses concerns, refuses to listen, and dodges accountability. From denying involvement in the New Childrens Hospital to disowning 4-month #scoliosis targets—he only claims credit when…

God forbid people would want to comment … or least post some fact checks.

#MicheálMartin talks to Liam. He says he is “very cross” - he is a carer “24/7 for my wife who is blind.” He told MM - he is on €277 pension a week, and carers allowance €143. He is upset with €6 increase at last budget for carers “what would that get you?” @rtenews #GE24

After seeing Simon Harris dismiss the concerns of a carer and then apologise only because it was a bad look for the FG campaign, people need to remember that this is actually Fine Gael policy. They don't care about carers or PWD because they look at it as a solely family matter.
