I have no words to describe how proud I am of my mother. A woman, rural Ireland, mother of four, elected to Oireachtas in the 80s. However good as a TD she was, by all accounts, she was top class, she was an even better mother. 🥰😍

Dublin city's design cannot be dictated by car park owners. It is utterly bizarre that national ministers would intervene locally on their behalf. This is a great plan for the city centre: council management should hold firm and push on.

Just a thought but going forward if Independents are consistently getting these kinds of numbers in polling we’re going to need a better way to refer to them than “Independents” which currently serves as what is essentially an “Other” or “Miscellaneous” category.
