It makes no sense that I can soon meet my family in a car showroom or a garden centre, but us sitting apart in the garden is banned. That has no scientific or logical basis. The Government are pleading with us to show some common sense - it needs to work both ways.

From this we are about 16 days behind Italy. Their curve is flattening. I’m not sure the elderly/vulnerable living on their own will survive this even if they don’t catch COVID; loneliness & depression already setting in for people I know. They need human physical contact.
