#TakeaBreak On #WorldMentalHealthDay. It’s important to remember to be kind to ourselves. We are not workhorses; we are not constantly servile; we also deserve kindness. #TypesofRest #SocialMediaBreak #Read #Yoga #SayNo #Meditate #Journal #Draw #Swim #NatureWalk

Beautifully put. Some people cause constant chaos around themselves to avoid getting caught.

Self-love isn’t a wine and spa day, it’s holding yourself to a higher standard than anyone else does. You deserve a beautiful life.

Typescript of Sylvia Plath’s ‘Poppies in October’, 1962. The poem was written on her 30th birthday, the same day as the title poem of Ariel (Faber, 1965). The exclamation mark added at the end was a full stop again in the published version.

Would you hire the builder who wrecked your kitchen to fix it?

Such a fabulous evening celebrating learners’ #achievements at #GLLMAwards tonight! And, my Lit & A2 tutee just went and won the @colegllandrillo #ALevel Learner of the Year Award 2024! Yeyyy, #success! #GLLM2024

If only someone had kept a list of all the dastardly deeds the Tories have done and then turned it into a poem… oh yeah, I have… Here’s my poem, ironically titled ‘Levelling Up.’ #turnup #GE2024 #timeforchange

This is despicable! Why do the Tories despise the Arts so much? Is it because it’s another way of democratising society; Arts enable people to convey their voice, ideas and beliefs when other modes of expression are oppressed in a time of subjugation. #ToryAttackonArts #ToryCuts

It’s like they know the value of nothing. Ministers to cut funding for performing and creative arts courses in England theguardian.com/education/2024…

#JohnCooperClarke absolutely smashed it tonight in his UK Tour, ‘Get him while you can!’ He had the crowd in hysterics as well as in awe. Loved his #poetry set-list from all his collections and he ended with my fave ‘I wanna be yours.’ Diolch yn fawr Dr! #performancepoetry

Wow @mikegarry just stunned us with his emotive, raw poetry about life in Manchester. Feeling his vibe as he works with disadvantaged youths lost through our Govian education system too! #Timeforarethink #Speakingourtruth #teachallkidstoread #poetrylovers

I’m really looking forward to hearing #JohnCooperClarke perform his #poetry tonight, on his ‘Get him while you can!’ UK tour. Learning from one of our #poetrymasters again, from GCSE Live at Newcastle City Hall in the 1990s to @VenueCymru, Llandudno in 2024! Love #punkpoetry x

This is one of the best speeches on Margaret Thatcher. From the brilliant Glenda Jackson. God, where are the orators like her today?

Anyone else #loveopera? I had such an inspirational and moving evening with my son at Pontio Theatre, in Bangor watching @Midwalesopera perform #Verdi’s #Macbeth! Well done to all the company! They were superb #Bravo

I’m honoured to take part in this #CymruCan film as a #ChangeChampion. Our #FutureGenerationsAct supersedes all other legislation, so if a legal decision threatens our future place and people, then the action must stop! We are protecting our future for Wales & the World!
