Merits of Initiating the Salām "The one who makes salām first will receive one of two merits: -Allāh will raise his rank above the person to whom he made salām because he reminded them by initiating it -The angels will reply in their stead if they did not respond to his salām."
Smiling is charity. And when a person gives charity, Allah increases and multiplies manifold. By meeting people with a cheerful appearance and a joyful face, Allah increases and multiplies the happiness in your heart and the bliss in your circles. Happiness is contagious.
It is recorded in Taʿlīm al-Mutaʿallim that the son of a kind Ustādh will one day also become an ʿĀlim. This is because the Ustādh encourages the students to become ʿUlamā. Through the barakah of this encouragement and due to his kindness, his son too will become an ʿĀlim.
In a companionship, there’ll be times where it’ll be perfect and times which will be ugly. Don’t allow your emotions to overtake your mindset, rather allow it to solve your problems and move forward. Listen to each other rather than ignoring what the problem is.

One of my favourite ahadith is إِنَّ الرِّفْقَ لَا يَكُونُ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلَّا زَانَهُ وَلَا يُنْزَعُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا شَانَهُ Gentleness is not found in anything but that it beautifies it and harshness is not found in anything but that it tarnishes it [Sahih Muslim, 2594]
When travelling by air, make it a habit of reciting Quraan along the way as this mode of transport travels at extremely fast speed. The distance covered is large and will therfore be counted as that area of the earth in which an individual made the zikr of Allah
Make du’a wholeheartedly to Allah, and know for sure that His response will come for Allah has said in a hadith qudsi, “I am as My servant thinks of Me…” [ ٤٠ حديث القرسي، حديث ١٥]
