Thoughts of suicide can impact anyone. Over half of us who are bereaved by suicide loss will have these thoughts and, while they aren't a sign of a mental health condition, they are a sign of needing support. We can #breakthestigma through brave conversations about how we feel.
Losing a loved one is incredibly difficult. It's natural to want to help our friends when they are grieving but it has its own challenges. How do we know we're doing it right? We hope this short guide can help those looking to comfort their friends in their grief.
Creative outlets for grief can help us find the words to express ourselves when all else fails. Haikus are a simple but effective kind of poetry: 3 lines, 5 syllables, 7 syllables, and 5 syllables. We invite you to share your own haikus for your loved ones.
