Saying it's ugly may be true at times, but if we're talking about what's going on, that kinda comes off as just a personal judgement. A lot of real art is ugly and bad too, BUT it was made by actual real people and mostly with intent and purpose, in an inherently ethical way.
PD: it's also REALLY telling how techbros love to speculate about the future of "AI" art and the extinction of human artists just comes as an afterthought, if they're not just straight up salivating about ending human-made art. That tells me more than the pics themselves.
Some "AI" Art is fine, even with its dumb hands and non-denominational bits. The problem with it isnt the technical part (tho many times IT IS) but the ethical one: It rips off people who didnt consent and the techbros behind it just want to kill the human component of art.
I have been reading fanfic for decades. I am going to tell you the secret to finding good stuff without an algorithm. 1) Find a fic you fucking love, like everything about it hits your buttons, writing, characterization, tropes, kinks, ending, etc.
