Every two years our qualified teams need to requalify with Lowland Rescue. Today handlers Mel and Search Dog Shanti did just that. It takes a huge amount of dedication not just to achieve this level but maintaining. We are lucky in Sussex to have 6 qualified search dogs.
The team would like to say thank you to Barrett Homes for their kind donation that enabled us to equip the team with new custom designed high-viz load vests. All funds raised provide life-saving equipment to keep our humans and dogs safe. #searchdogssussex #charity #Donation

We hinted at this a few weeks ago, but now it’s official, yesterday Jack passed his Lowland Rescue national assessment to make him the UK’s first qualified search and rescue Parrot. He will now in the search for vulnerable missing people. #sar #lowlandrescue
