Student protestors in Ann Arbor have been crystal clear: Israel's genocide in Gaza is immoral and the university's complicity in Israeli war-making must end. In response, Ono has now made his position clear: he stands with Israel in its genocide. jewishinsider.com/2024/06/michig…

We won't let BU's repression of faculty take place behind closed doors! Concerned BU faculty have shared an open letter sent to the President, Provost, and Associate Provost: "We want to be very clear with our students that to the extent we are submitting grades today (1/?)

But @BU_Tweets isn’t worried about the strike 🤥

Undergrads Suffer the Impact of BU’s Graduate Student Strike @BU_Tweets’ graduate student strike is entering its eighth week. Students in some writing courses haven’t had class since, and now they have to grade themselves. #HigherEd bit.ly/4al3eFk

BUGWU’s proposal to BU: commit to tying our annual raises to the median rent in the Boston area, and we’ll call off any picket activities that affect commencement. If not, we will make sure ALL the attendees know what BU has done to students’ education for the last 8 weeks.

The movement should hold "progressive champion" @MayorWu completely accountable for the actions of her cops violently arresting 100 students for protesting genocide in Palestine. Progressives in MA should be clear-eyed at about who she is #mapoli #bospoli

an Emerson College student sent me this video of city crews cleaning blood from the alleyway where 108 students were arrested last night during an encampment sweep. I'm at Boston municipal court today where eight of those arrested have been given summons for arraignments in May.

It is apparent that BU admin prefers to strikebreak than to work on a fair contract and end the strike. Please consider donating to our support fund if you are able: givebutter.com/bugwufund

On March 26th and April 5th, SEIU Local 509 filed two Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) charges against BU for attempting to break BUGWU's strike. Below is the BUGWU members and BU faculty's firsthand accounts of ongoing ULPs and reckless strikebreaking efforts: docs.google.com/document/d/1Gk…
