With other colleagues, we're compiling a list of tips to help beginners get started with Bayesian statistics. This list draws on advice we've gathered over the years from courses and workshops we've conducted for non-statisticians. What do you think? Are we missing anything?

Last week, we hosted a pan-European workshop on corncrake conservation. What we discovered as a community made up of ecologists, land managers, farmers and advisors is that the situation for corncrakes has reached a crucial point. Crex Futures...what next? Here's a thread:

It's #WorldMigratoryBirdDay! 🐦 Each year our amazing migratory birds travel thousands of miles - connecting continents & relying on insects to fuel their epic travels. Follow the fascinating journey of the Swift in our map below 👇

Last week, I attended the Corncrake Conservation Workshop hosted by the @CorncrakeLife team. Fantastic talks about the future of #CorncrakeConservation in Europe, which is encouraging for the species and future international collaboration. Even got to see my first #Corncrake !

Hi folks. It's that time of year again. Let's just get this out of the way: CORNCRAKES, SHOULD BE HEARD AND NOT SEEN. Below is an example of a fantastic corncrake photo. Go out in the dark, experience them in that eerily summer half-light and enjoy.
