Thank you to our first responders who have been working tirelessly to combat the #BridgeFire. It appears San Dimas was spared from significant impact for now, but let’s keep our neighboring communities in mind still confronting this threat. We are stronger together.

Ryan A. Vienna Reposted

City staff assessed the southeastern flank of the #BridgeFire this afternoon from within the warning evacuation zone. We observed that the retardant placed by firefighters and aerial support successfully stopped the fire from advancing towards La Verne and San Dimas.

Ryan A. Vienna Reposted

The Bridge Fire is currently at 48,000 acres with 0% containment. Currently, there is no immediate threat to foothill cities in LA County, with San Dimas, La Verne, and Claremont having one or two zones indicating an Evacuation Warning.
