An impromptu visit to SWT’s Carron Glen reserve which is looking stunning. My first visit here as part of my attempt to visit more reserves over the year

A beautiful day here with a couple of hours spent tracking down white-fronted geese and then a walk home at midnight accompanied by a moonbow.

I’m loving this, whilst looking forward to the weather warming up so my sea swims last longer than it takes to get dressed afterwards!

Thanks @andrewswalks Seeing your Gates with Views made me get out the house and off for a walk. Just got home and am feeling human again

I've just read that Neil Armstrong used to tell deliberately bad jokes about the Moon and, when people didn't laugh, he'd say, "I guess you had to be there." And, if this isn't true, it jolly well should be.

Went to a brilliant talk last night by Melanie of Findlay Ecology about camera trapping otters. Learnt lots and some surprising results from her data. Have a look at her blog for more! (findlayecologyservices.co.uk/blog/)

Interesting to see that this article on the Guardian website is their most popular this morning, Just shows that simple living (the Craig way!) is what more and more of us are craving. @guardian theguardian.com/travel/2019/ap…

Some mesmerising displays by the local Adders this weekend - these males were involved in a duel with heads a full 18 inches from the ground 1/3
