Congrats to Bryce, Clinical Psych Prof, and team who received a new @NIH funded R01 study with @CREATELabVCU! They will be evaluating measurement-based care (MBC) and assessing the impact of MBC fidelity on target mechanisms and youth clinical outcomes. @VCUCHS

Thank you to Heidi Metcalf Little, Cathy Howard, Page Bauder for hosting us in North Side tonight! Folks across Richmond tell me they want a responsive City Hall that works for everyone, and that’s what I’ll work towards as your Mayor!

Like many Richmonders, I watched the events on VCU’s campus last night with deep concern. I will say unequivocally, students have the right to peacefully protest and also must feel safe and welcome on their campus. We deserve answers for what happened last night.

I am lucky to call Heather a friend! I have learned so much from her on how to walk the DEI talk and am eternally grateful to have her voice at VCU!

Congratulations to our very own @DrHeatherAJones who received the SPP Award for Distinguished Contributions to Diversity. #SPPAC2024

One piece of advice I would give "a year ago today" me (and current me!): "There is no ONE path to get to where you want to be." Whether you match at your 1st choice, your 6th choice, or go to Phase II, this choice does not determine the rest of your career #APPICMatchDay

Not surprisingly, students of color in psychology graduate programs were differentially and greatly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic compared to their non-hispanic white peers. Check out our latest publication in JCP. Thank you @cudcp_dcp for your support.

Only someone who’s never been around real gangstas would describe a rich kid from the suburbs riding around blasting rap music, flashing guns he’ll never need, knowing he’ll never have to face any REAL consequences…. as “acting gangsta..” Ja Morant was actually “acting white”
