Usually no. When you restart on the front row, there's really not a lot the spotter can say, they have to go off what the car next to them is doing. They can see it and hear it better than a spotter can.
So did Kyle’s team think they were the control car when the spotter said “It’s on you” if so that would make a lot of sense
