Just an amazing NASA photo that is absolutely awe inspiring. It makes our day to day issues and struggles seem infinitely minor in the big picture of life.
BREAKING 🚨: NASA dropped a new James Webb telescope deep space image All the eight-sided features are stars in the Milky Way, everything else is a galaxy 🤯
With a trend toward more eco-friendly products, the new Pantone color, Mocha Mousse, may fit in nicely with earthy & earth tone branded merch initiatives. Other than for those specific uses, I think the color may not hit home for most other products. I think it may be too dull.
Enjoy the journey as you’ll only progress well through trials & errors
No news is not good news for clients. Keep them updated on projects-even if it is just to acknowledge receipt of their email. Good news or bad-- keep customers in the loop. Uncertainty creates a void that people will try to fill. Control the narrative by being proactive!
Is there a secret "order your #swag BEFORE Thanksgiving" memo going around? 🤔 We're seeing a HUGE surge in last-minute holiday merch orders today. Love the proactive spirit! 🙌 We're here for all your branded needs. 🎁 #BrandedMerch #HolidayGifts
Not to sound like Scrooge, but eblasts that are just simply Holiday greetings without any substantial marketing or educational benefits, seem spammy at a time when a person is on vacation or trying to wrap things up. We can do better!
Great mindset. Short term pain leads to long term gains. Always think of the bigger picture.
When handled properly, branded swag can have a very high ROI and can be used for incentives and inspiration…ex: job fairs, military recruitment, attendance awards, etc. All marketing should have a purpose..same as Army ads.
12. Government Swag Federal agencies collectively spend $1.5 billion every year on public relations including snuggies, mascots, key chains, and coloring books. Let's bag the swag.
Every company with a loyal following should have a merch shop!
New Yorkers, where is the best place to watch the ball drop for NYE-- without standing on the streets-- and not Marriott Marquis or Olive Garden?
Winning your time back is definitely a Baller move. And the true gauge of success.
Good friend of mine’s in his early 60s. His circle of friends is in a great place. They’re post career-hustle mode, kids are independent, and they spend lots of time traveling and meet up a lot. They’ve won their time back, and they’re the happiest group of people I know.
Agreed. We take Southwest flights just to use the airport and also to chill at the Amex lounge on the way home. A very pleasant experience. I love the tile design work too!
I’m always amazed at how many of my clients wait until the last minute to order branded swag but then I look in the mirror and realize I always order my own holiday gifts at the last minute as well. We all have busy schedules.
Gotta love #Austin, Texas weather. Mid November, 84 degrees outside and chilling at our poo, while flowers on our backyard are still blooming. I don’t think I miss having four seasons at all.
Interesting article in WSJ on the rise of logo subtlety on high end retail goods. Think about muted colors," tone on tone" logos & even deboss for certain clientele on higher end promotional products. Think wearability! geektechbranding.com wsj.com/style/fashion/… via @WSJ

Cut ties with belligerent clients quickly so you’ll have more time to spend on the ones that appreciate the value you bring to the table. Demanding clients are fine (& often appreciated for upping your game) as long as personal boundaries aren’t crossed. Biz needs to be win-win.
Fired a client today. $4k project, 2 days of work, didn't even charge them. My rule: Rude & Refund. If you're rude with your feedback, you're out. I'd rather eat the cost than deal with disrespect. Know your worth, folks.
