Just officially completed first term so have taught 26.25 years. Why does that matter? It means I am 75% done with my teaching career toward retirement! Who knows what happens after that, but this is exciting milestone.

Blue Dragons survive terrific CCC tourney game with 50-48 win over a tough East Catholic team. Shay led the way with 17 while Tessa added 11 and Taj had 9 and also guarded talented post on EC. We improve to 17-4 and next meet ranked NWC Saturday at 5pm at Plainville. #ctgb

Dragons gain share of division title (5th time in 9 years) with a 44-38 win over an outstanding Berlin team. We were led by Shalyn Smith with 19, while Tessa Porch had 12 and Gabby Butler finished with 9. We return home this Thursday for a CCC tourney game. #ctgb
