GAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAhahahahahahahahahaha
The Noh Mask Murder - Akimitsu Takagi I prefer The Tattoo Murder Case over this one. It was still very good though it fell a bit short of what I anticipated. But still a very good read.
3. The Twist of a Knife - Anthony Horowitz 4. Moonflower Murders - Anthony Horowitz 5. IJ Parker - The Dragon Scroll 6. Everyone on this Train is a Suspect - Benjamin Stevenson 7. The Sentence is Death - Anthony Horowitz
Seems like I’ve not updated my list of books I’ve read. Have even lost count even though they are significantly few than the number of books I use to read. 1. The Final Curtain - Keigo Higashino 2. The Devil’s Flute Murders - Seishi Yokomizo Cont…
Alexandra Benedict’s gift for me every christmas is a good book to read. This year is is Murder on the Christmas Express… Until next year for The Christmas Jigsaw Murders
Been waiting for this book for a very long time and it delivered. Yukito Ayatsuji’s The Mill House Murders
This is a new book that I discovered having been written in between the first appearance of Dupin and Holmes along with Fergus Hume and Emile Gaboriau (and maybe even Sheridan Le Fanu?). Henry Cauvain’s The Killing Needle
Not bad for having read two books this month than nothing…😄 Agatha Christie’s Death in the Clouds I.J. Parker’s The Dragon Scroll
Despite the fact that there are many gruesome and grotesque themes in the book I never thought that this would have one of my most favorite story. The story DOG in this book is a story with everything in it in right proportions. REGARDLESS….. Goth by Otsuichi
I never miss a Rachel Savernake book. I liked all of them but the blurb by which how this book was advertise seems to be kind of a little bit different than the ultimate solution of the book. But still I enjoyed it very very much. Martin Edwards - Sepulchre Street
Personally, I prefer the Galileo series than the Kaga ones just because I like how quirky Galileo is a compared to Kaga. That said, both the series have very interesting stories including this one. Keigo Higashino - A Death in Tokyo
I’ve read this book on the basis of a review which describes the protagonist as “Sherlock-esque”… Little did I know I was in for a trip. It’s admittedly bizzare, “kinky?”, and weird for my preference. Reminds me of Natsuo Kirino’s Out. The Rope Artist - Fuminori Nakamura
After a long while I have finally finished another book. Feels like watching a Hannibal Lecter movie. T.H. White’s Darkness at Pemberley
Hours spent reading books per person per week: 🇮🇳 India - 10:42 🇹🇭 Thailand - 09:24 🇨🇳 China - 08:00 🇵🇭 Philippines - 07:36 🇪🇬 Egypt - 07:30 🇨🇿 Czechia - 07:24 🇷🇺 Russia - 07:06 🇸🇪 Sweden - 06:54 🇫🇷 France - 06:54 🇭🇺 Hungary - 06:48 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia - 06:48 🇭🇰 Hong Kong - 06:42…
I preferred The Mystery of the Yellow Room but this book puts closure to the story and a must read sequel to the first… It is a locked room but not really of Carr’s caliber regardless of his appreciation to the Yellow Room. Gaston Leroux’s The Perfume of the Lady in Black
Another author which I recently have just discovered and liked very much… Typical family drama but the ending revelation of who the killer was was kind of a surprise. Cat’s Paw by Roger Scarlett
As usual, Carr is indeed the master of the Locked Room Mystery. I actually saw a recent film with a similar solution which back then I found to be very unique. UNTIL NOW… Not the best Carr but one of the interesting ones. The Plague Court Murders by John Dickson Carr
I cannot remember the last time and book I have read of G. Simenon… Now I wonder why it took me such a long time before picking up another book of his. Maigret is great… his character is brilliant, beast of a man, a no nonsense guy. Pietr the Latvian by Georges Simenon.
First book I have read from Starrett and I’m hooked. The mystery, blended with good thriller elements, made the read so much fun. Another author whose books I’d gladly read in the future. The Great Hotel Murder by Vincent Starrett
This is not really my typical read. It is good but not entirely up to those that I prefer reading. Some of the themes are quite shocking and its quite lengthy for a simple plot. Imagine Joseph Conrad and Theodore Roscoe, writing together. The Poison Oracle by Peter Dickinson.
