alicent stans say the showrunners didn't want people to sympathize with her (after they changed a bunch of the story just to fit her mind you) and then proceed to add aemma's and laena's brutal birth scenes where they DIED horrifically as proof of it
show alicent’s whole character was made to be sympathized so her future actions can be excused. they had to erase laena and rhaenyra’s relationship in order to give alicent more importance and relevance including aging her down and making her marriage with viserys non-consensual.
