This log boat was excavated from the River Witham in Lincolnshire, England. It’s 2,500 years old, dating to the Iron Age. What I find most interesting about it, is that archaeologists think it was a votive offering based on the context of the site☀️ #ancient #archeology #history

Kenure House, Rush. Demolished by Dublin County Council in 1978. All that is left standing is the very impressive portico. This must rate as one of the worst acts of architectural vandalism ever carried out by a State body!
