We are very happy to inspire other retro developers like us.

@RetroEncoder is making a port of the game #Batman from #NES to #SMS. Inspired by his example, I decided to port the screensavers from this game. This turned out to be quite an interesting technical challenge. #SegaMasterSystem #RETROGAMING #homebrew #gamedev

Why don't the Joker's henchmen appear in the NES Batman game? #RetroGame #RETROGAMING #Classicgames #Oldschoolgaming #RetrogamingCommunity

The @chirinea friend updated the version of the song Streets of Desolation for Master System and the result was even more incredible than the previous one. #Batman from #Nes to #SegaMasterSystem #RETROGAMING

It's been one year since I made my first chiptune track, a remix of "Streets of Desolation" from Batman the Videogame for the NES. I learned a few more tricks since then, so here's a new version to celebrate one year of weekly videos: youtu.be/WnAwBtZh7y4

Long before we started the project of porting Batman from the NES, our friend @chirinea made this version of the Streets of Desolation song from the first stage for the Master System. #Batman from #Nes to #SegaMasterSystem #chiptune #RETROGAMING youtube.com/watch?v=WmBN9C…

Since @RetroEncoder is bringing this game to the Master System I decided to do another remix from its soundtrack, this time stage 2's song (stage 1 in the Japanese version) youtu.be/1MMU2dvKhag

Comparison of Batman from the NES versus the Master System port. There are still a lot of adjustments to be made to the speed of movements and animations, but you can already see the difference in the color of the sprites in the Master System version. #RETROGAMING #homebrew

#Batman from the #Nes and the version being ported to the #SegaMasterSystem #homebrew What else can we improve?

Another punch test, now from left and right and on an old CRT TV.We had a memory problem when loading the files, but we added them to the mapping and we were able to continue. #Batman from #NES to #SegaMasterSystem #homebrew

First test of the punch animation. As you can see, the fist sprite is missing, this is because it will be shown separately and positioned in the right frame to program the collision. #Batman from #Nes to #SegaMasterSystem #homebrew

We couldn't stop thinking of solutions to fix the error in the movement and we ended up not resting this Sunday and the error was resolved 😊 #Batman from #Nes to #SegaMasterSystem #homebrew

The crouching movement has been implemented, it is giving an error, but we will correct it in the next few days. #Batman from #Nes to #SegaMasterSystem #homebrew

Friends! Another small advancement in the project. Player movement via joystick has been added. #Batman from #Nes to #SegaMasterSystem #homebrew

It's just a test, with no intention of happening. #Robocop from #arcade to #SegaMasterSystem #homebrew
