I disagree. DLC is not a full game. It's add-on content for an existing game. By definition it cannot be considered for "game" of the year. If y'all want this so bad, make a DLC of the year category and be done with it. It's not that deep.
DLC should be eligible for Game of the Year. It's a game. It's a game people played this year. If it's *that* good, it should be honored.

How is a DLC that requires purchase of the base game + requires beating multiple bosses in base game nominated for GOTYโฆ over other standalone new games? Not saying DLCs donโt deserve recognition but a separate category feels like it wouldโve made the most sense.
