Congressman Gabe Amo

@RepGabeAmo

Proudly representing Rhode Island's First Congressional District in the United States Congress.

ICYMI: I went on the QuestionAble Strategy Podcast to discuss my experience in my first months in the House of Representatives and how asking questions can help us bridge the divide.  questionable-strategy.castos.com/episodes/a-us-…

Had the chance to go on @WPRO today to share my thoughts on the President-elect’s nominee for U.S. Attorney General. As Maya Angelou told us, when someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time. We’ve seen this chaos before. It is outrageous. And it is the point.

Another Blue Economy win for RI!   I joined @SenJackReed, @SenWhitehouse, and @Rep_Magaziner in securing $11.25 million to increase port efficiency/capacity at @QuonsetRI and stimulate sustainable economic growth for our state.  Read more here: amo.house.gov/press-release/…

Great discussion with @NZembassyUS Ambassador Rosemary Banks🇳🇿 Strengthening the ties between the US and New Zealand is important for the future of the Indo-Pacific, and has an impact on Rhode Island’s Blue Economy.

It’s never @WayTooEarly to discuss how we should bring focus to delivering for the American people by fighting to bring down costs. Thanks to @JonLemire for having me on.

Today I voted YES on the #SocialSecurityFairnessAct to repeal the WEP & GPO.    These harmful provisions slash benefits for retired police officers, firefighters, teachers, and government employees — penalizing hard working Americans for their dedication to public service.

Happy Birthday to Rhode Island’s senior senator, the leader of our federal delegation, and someone I am lucky enough to call my friend! It’s an honor to serve the state of Rhode Island in Congress with you, @SenJackReed!🎉
