I’ve always felt like if we just looked into men’s brains and looked at what their real desires were we’d be surprised

If you were in charge of making America healthy again, what is the first policy you'd implement? (please don't say ban seed oils)

French caretakers take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy and scrub them into the letters to give them the brown/gold coloring. They do this for all 9,386 soldiers who died. France also gave us this land as American soil. Thank you veterans ❤️

In the middle of the Hebrew texts of Scripture sits LAMENTATIONS. After the destruction of the heart of a nation, the book doesn’t try to fix the pain but simply sit in it, reminding us that: LAMENT IS THE ONLY VALID RESPONSE WHEN GOD’s PEOPLE CHOOSE IDOLATRY OVER INTEGRITY.

"Whoever is dishonest in little things will be dishonest in big things too." This man can't help but lie even about the most frivolous things.

If you were in charge of making America healthy again, what is the first policy you'd implement? (please don't say ban seed oils)

WATCH: Permanent concrete barriers are coming to 10th Street to further protect the bike lanes adjacent to Piedmont Park. The goal is to improve cyclist/pedestrian safety as this area is part of the city’s high-injury network. Oh, and you can help paint them. 🎨

We ran an article Friday about how the Trump campaign has made a habit of deceptively using quotes in its TV ads, cutting out words and taking stuff way out of context. Then the campaign released the most egregious example yet. Here's a thread on deceptive quotes in its new ad.

A lot of you-more than I like to think about-are going to place a vote for a man so decrepit in mind, soul, and heart that he routinely denigrates men who have served this nation honorably. And why? Because they refused to kiss his filthy boots.

Donald Trump just called John Kelly, a respected four-star general who lost his son in Afghanistan: “Stupid” and “dumb as a rock.” Do not normalize Trump. Vote!

Rogan tees up a softball to allow Trump just to agree with him and call dictators evil and dangerous. And Trump very deliberately does not agree, and instead calls Americans evil. Shocking. Trump is not a patriot. He admires Xi and Putin. That’s dangerous.

Trump: Dictators are the smartest people. Xi controls 1.4 billion people with an iron fist Rogan: But dictators are evil and dangerous Trump: Actually, we have evil people in our country

Trump's McDonald's stunt was entirely pretend. The store was closed, the car line was rehearsed. It was a rich man cosplaying as a minimum wage worker to fool his rube fans into thinking he understands their plight. He doesn't.

Cars rehearsing ahead of former Pres. Trump, who is expected to be serving supporters McDonald's food.

This remains the biggest story in the presidential campaign right now: Donald Trump keeps lying about the deadliest mainland storm since Katrina to try to score cheap political points off people’s pain

Trump lies that victims of Helene "haven't seen anybody from the federal government yet." (This lie has been debunked even by Republican governors.)

David McCollum Reposted

Donald Trump and Republicans claim that FEMA doesn't have money for Hurricane Helene relief, because as much as $1 billion or more was transferred out of FEMA's Disaster Relief Fund to deal with illegal immigrant needs. There is no evidence of that. 🧵 1/ with receipts

It will forever baffle me at how someone could see how Jesus laid down his life out of love for the world rather than forcing it to conform to his will, then somehow conclude that political and theological authoritarianism is how his followers should represent him in the world.
