My #Peterloo2019 design is a handkerchief. Inspired by the original #Peterloo #handkerchief @PHMMcr & featuring a jug with Henry Hunt’s profile. Commemorative objects were created to share the message of the massacre. This piece considers lessons pertinent to today @mcrhistfest

Excellent news, I was troubled by the weather but figure the hedgehogs would find a place to hide 🦔

Superior Sabbath, tar Mancsy, it's home and dry!

This beautifully rounded, perfectly healthy hedgehog weighing almost 700g, and with a cheeky sparkle of life in her eyes is, believe it or not, baby Gypsy. I never thought I'd see this day. I've been doing this a long time, and have treated hundreds, probably thousands by now,…

Please help keep wildlife safe this bonfire night; hedgehogs & many other species of wildlife will see bonfires as a ready-made shelter! So please remember to always check bonfires before lighting; in fact, it is best to move it to a new location just before lighting. Thank you!

Bonnie & Clyde came in as hoglets, tangled in netting. Internal parasites were also detected & treated. They were released on the 31/10. Bonnie weighed 837g, Clyde 900g. Good luck guys! 🦔❤️ *Please keep netting off the ground* #hedgehogs #Bonnie #Clyde #GoodLuck #wildlife

Happy Diwali to all my friends who celebrate this beautiful festival of light. My final little drawing of the day to send you the love.

The hedgehog doodle became this…

Breaking news from the drawing, it turns out there was another hedgehog who had been hiding in the bonfire, fortunately they checked before they lit it and it scuttled away across the park. Both hedgehogs are safe for now, please check or re-stack bonfires. @hedgehogsociety

Well, there has been an update. It seems this little hedgehog is actually a Mancunian. The bonfire must have awoken the bees.

Turns out it’s a good thing this little hedgehog did find shelter under the hive, they have lit a bonfire just across the way. Phew.

It’s okay everyone, she’s not in bonfire she’s hiding below a hive. Take advice from the @hedgehogsociety if you are having a bonfire this year, stack it before burning or check with a torch and listen to hear if any animals are hiding onside. Alternatively visit a public event.
