Trump did better in the highly diverse Bronx (9.0% white, 56.4% Latino, 33.8% Black, 4.7% Asian, 3.8% multiracial) than any Republican since Reagan in 1984. He gained about 24k votes relative to 2020. But I think the bigger story is that Harris lost 111,000 compared to Biden.
Gallant has not been Defense Minister for almost 3 weeks, he is no longer in charge of the war effort against Gaza and Lebanon. This is the United States under Biden engaging in an open affront to his international arrest warrant.
Gallant is set to fly to the U.S. to meet with defence officials — it will be his first overseas outing since the ICC arrest warrants were issued. Flying through European/North African airspace? Here’s hoping to his being escorted mid-flight.
