Tip #2 from #ohioww. If you need to cut your word count and you’ve looked at crutch words already: take a look at times you’ve used a dialogue tag AND a beat tag. You only need one, not both! Never thought to check for that before. Thanks to @C_H_Armstrong for her session.

For what it's worth, I know and would vouch for a solid 50% of the literary agents listed on the @AALitAgents Equity Directory: equitydirectory.org No guarantees, but for any querying writers wondering how to sift good agents from bad, it's a decent starting point.
