To all my friends north and south of the 49th parallel and those overseas, today is Monday, October the 14th and my wish to of you is that you have a very Happy Thanksgiving Day!

To all my friends in China, from China and of whom have spent considerable time in China - Guo Quing Jie Kuai Le! ;-) For those who do not understand, today, October the 1st, is The People's Republic of China National day!

Tomorrow is my 69th birthday, should I or do I need to get a girlfriend for this next year?

Chun Jie Kuai Le & Gong Xi Fa Cai! Tonight is Chinese New Year's Eve (as we westerners know it) but to the Chinese it is Spring Festival's Eve. Their new year and the beginning of Spring both arrive at midnight tonight. Also, on Google's calendar today is World Pizza Day. Enjoy!

Happy Groundhog Day everyone! Apparently the American one saw his own shadow so there will be 6 more weeks of winter down there, but the Canadian one didn't see his own shadow so our winter is done with. Sucks to be an American today!

Seasons greetings, Joyeux Noel, Feliz Navidad, Sheng Dan Kuai Le, or in other words, I hope you and your loved ones have a very Merry Christmas!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Yes, yes, my American friends insist it is a month too early and that it is their holiday that they invented that we are celebrating. But we all know the truth about Americans and history, right?

Strangely enough, Canadians had begun celebrating this harvest season tradition 53 years before the Americans "invented" it. The Americans in turn celebrated it one year, skipped it the next year, then began celebrating it every year after that.

Who really cares anyway? It's a holday here, now, and I'm enjoying a big feast tonight! I can almost taste the pumpkin pie now.

Yep, it's that time again, my birthday. Though technically I'm only a day older than yesterday, I get to check off another year of life. I used to party hard to celebrate them when I lived in China particularly for my 50th and 60th birthdays but now I'm a lot more laid back.

Last day of Stampede Week! Thank Zeus! Back on the diet tomorrow, I've got to lose that last 4 kg I just packed on!

Yep, time for another photo update. I just had my haircut 2 weeks before I took this photo yesterday (April 12, 2023). It may look like my hair is flying in the wind, but those are just a couple of random clouds behind me and my hair colour tends to blend in with them now.

Happy April Fool's Day to all! What a great day not to be a teacher anymore! Altough since it is also a Saturday...
