I’m fed up stoma bags not being available to purchase in public places like chemists and supermarkets. They’re an essential item for ostomates like sanitary ware is for women. So why must they only be accessed through a prescription service? It’s inconvenient and ableist.

We collected 80 black bags & 5 tonne bags of waste, carried it out over a flood defence dam & down an alley where it will be picked up by LB Newham (to whom we’re grateful for this). This is probably one of our biggest rubbish hauls in a single day; a seriously great effort!
As sad as it is and shocking, I don’t think it’s appropriate for people to be filming someone laying on the floor stabbed and dying, then posting it on social media for everyone to see. My pet hate when you’re trying to help someone and everyone is there with their phones out
