Great paper by @trevortombe on carbon pricing & food prices showing even with its cascading effects, carbon pricing contributed only 0.5% of the 26% rise in food prices. …and this study is reputable & not funded by an anti-carbon price lobby group. @andrew_leach @FoodProfessor

How do carbon taxes affect food prices? In our latest paper, @dr_jen_winter and I analyze both direct and indirect impacts across the entire food supply chain: papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cf… It's the most detailed exploration of CTaxes and food yet! 🤓 🧵 #cdnecon #cdnpoli

Netanyahu cheapens the concept of antisemitism to try to save himself. At a point when Jews around the world need to rally support against antisemitism, Netanyahu throws them under the bus by equating antisemitism with criticism of his own war crimes. x.com/netanyahu/stat…

The antisemitic decision of the international court in The Hague is a modern Dreyfus trial, and it will end the same way.

Ali is 2 years old and hasn't spoken since his entire family were killed in an airstrike in Lebanon. He spent 14 hours under rubble before being rescued. Our spokesperson James Elder met Ali in a hospital in Beirut recently. "I don't know whether to scream or to cry," he said.
