Indigenous Peoples Day: Honoring the Kumeyaay Nation, whose ancestral land includes Lemon Grove. The Kumeyaay lived in villages along Chollas Creek, which runs through our city. We recognize their connection to this land and celebrate their legacy as part of our shared history.
